Queensland Apprenticeship Services, Regional Manager, David Collins discusses methods for managing different generations in the workplace, particularly in regards to Generation Y apprentices and trainees where completion in some trades are as low as 50%. Consulting Psychologist, Danielle Buckley states that old school methods used by employers when they were apprentices or trainees aren't going to work with this new breed of employee's, urging employers of apprentices and trainees to be more understanding and flexible in their management style.
