Employment Service Providers

Queensland Apprenticeship Services (QAS) works closely with Employment Service Providers to promote apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities to employers and jobseekers.

• How apprenticeships and traineeships can benefit your organisation:
• Provides your clients with an additional solution to their employment needs 
• Your employers benefit as they may be eligible to attract Australian Government incentives of up to $4,000 or more
• Your employers may be eligible to receive subsidised training from the State Government and other allowances. This may assist you to minimise the costs of post placement servicing
• Provide your job seekers with long-term employment solutions, providing them with nationally recognised qualifications
• By utilising apprenticeships and traineeships you increase the chances of achieving your three month and six month placement milestones
• Apprenticeships and traineeships fits in with your contractual obligations of sustainable employment and provides you with a value added service you can offer your clients.

QAS can assist your organisation by:

• Training and educating your staff on how apprenticeships and traineeships work and identifying additional business opportunities
• Providing you with marketing material to hand out to your clients (e.g. brochures and job seekers cards), as well as developing specific promotional pieces to suit your targeted marketing needs
• Referring employers and job seekers who require employment services to your organisation
• Working with your employers to find additional apprenticeship and traineeship employment opportunties and then feeding these leads back to your staff
• Signing-up apprentices and trainees you have placed

Giving your clients access to our free information and advice service which includes workplace visits, payment of Government incentives and assistance with completing and lodging the paperwork.
